Double Dipping Pt. 2

During the first two weeks of May (2018) I was out. of. my. mind. I was determined to see as many warblers as I could. But as mentioned in my blog Warbler Madness, although I was on a warbler mission this year, I saw a number of other wonderful avian species and of course, I simply can’t go birding without checking out all the lovely spring blooms.

Allium ‘Purple Sensation’ (Allium hollandicum)

Birds and blooms go together and at times it can be quite the dilemma for me – do I look up or do I look down?   I’m lucky I work in a place where I can do both relatively easy, I have to say I’m pretty spoiled. As mentioned in my previous blog Double Dipping, The New York Botanical Garden is ideal for both lovers of flora and feathered friends.
